Mother - Yamanaka Nemu (deceased) (Nemu means silk tree)
Brothers: Kinmaru - 21 - Jounin of Leaf, T&I Specialist, Morino Ibiki's apprentice, kin in the name means golden
Genzo - 15 - Chuunin of Leaf, specializes in genjutsu, name means phantom, illusion
Kanesuke - 14 - Genin of Leaf, has become apprenticed to Tatsuno Mizuko with Mikano Toboe as a teammate, uses knives and kunai with deadly accuracy, kane means metal; bell; gong; money

Likes: her brothers, father, her cousin Aburame Keika, painting her nails, silk, the latest clothing fashions, flowers, syrup, her childhood friends and teammates Hiruzen and Daiki, dark blues and purples, has a major crush on Kamizuki Keiichi (son of her father's best friend, Izumo)

Dislikes: Curry, most fangirls, black, lightning, the hospital, being sick, the birthmark on her nose in the shape of a small flame (it's the reason why she wears a bandage on her nose)

Personality: She loves her family and friends and will do anything for them, including dieing for her village. She may not look it, but she is a girly-girl but not an obvious fangirl. She isn't really vain, but she is proud of the fact that she has a more developed chest than most girls her age... She also has a long fuse to her temper. Usually easy to get along with. But when on missions and training, she has a no-nonsense attitude.

History: Aki was only 3 years old when her mother, Nemu of the Yamanaka clan, died from a mysterious disease. Her mother's sister, Keika's mother, stepped in to help raise her niece and nephews even though Kinmaru was already a genin by then. Aki grew close to her Aunt and her cousins with Keika ending up her best friend. She also became friends with Sarutobi Hiruzen and Namaki Daiki while in the Academy. When it came time to graduate, Aki was disappointed to not be in the same team as her cousin, but being in the team with Hiru-chan and Dai-chan (she never calls them with the kun suffix, thoroughly embarrassing her friends) was alright. They had previously thought that their Jounin sensei would be Shiranui Benjiro by the way he had treated them while they were in the Acedemy. Imagine their surprise when Captain Hatake Kokuei of the ANBU was announced as their sensei. They thought that they were going to be getting a sensei who would be great in teaching them because they weren't the top in their class...

They thought wrong...

Kokuei was forcibly pulled from the ANBU to be a Jounin sensei and he showed his displeasure when he first met the three genin. His words when he met Aki, Hiruzen, and Daiki was the following:

"My first impression of the three of you... you're all weak, pathetic, and a complete waste of my time."

In their test to become true genin, the three of them proved their worth with their ability to act as a team already. Hiruzen was the powerhouse, Daiki with his knowledge of poisons, and Aki with her quick thinking and analytical skills. They impressed Kokuei enough to let them pass...^_^

Here is the latest in my Naruto OCs for my stories...^_^ Aki is a cute girl and won't back down from almost anyone...^_^

I tried using a cel-shaded style for her and I hope I did okay with it... I'm more used in doing soft shading and the like.
