OC: Shiranui Saburo

"Now class, we're out here in one of Konoha's many training grounds today so I can give you all a glimpse at some of the weapons we as shinobi use."

Saburo pulled out a small metal rod from his back pouch and showed it to his students. The kids laughed at the puny looking thing.

"Sensei, what good is that metal rod thing for? Hitting someone on the butt with it?" a rather rude 9 year old boy remarked loudly, causing the rest of the class to laugh.

Sighing loudly, shaking his head at the boy's ignorance. "Hiroto, any of you, if you cannot look underneath the underneath, then you will be failures as ninja." Suddenly, he channeled some of his chakra into the metal rod and it expanded into a bo staff. "This is a bo, one of the weapons we are able to use. But this one is special as it will only respond to my chakra..."

After the demonstration was over, Saburo dismissed his class for the day. "You can come out now, Father."

Genma popped out of the shadows and walked over to his youngest son. "Was that necessary?" he asked, only getting a shrug from Saburo as an answer. "Saburo, son... it's been three years now. You have the potential to be stronger than your brothers and yet you refuse to become a jounin, and maybe be in the ANBU--"

Saubro cut his father off. "Dad, I know you're concerned, but I have my reasons..."

The third member of the Shiranui Siblings, Saburo. He is also the shortest of the boys, being barely 5'8" tall...not much taller than the youngest sibling, Aiko. He was a happy, go-lucky child and pulled a few pranks while in the Academy in order to try and impress a certain girl. Despite that, he became a Genin at age 10 and Chuunin at 12.

When he was 15, he was sent on a mission with his genin sensei and his former genin team to deliver an item for the Daimyo of Fire Country to Wave. This mission was suppose to only take 2 weeks and was maybe at most a B-ranked mission...Saburo barely made it back to Konoha alive, 2 months later and alone. Whatever happened, he was the only survivor and bears several scars from it...scars from wounds that should have killed him. He also had a physical change in his eyes. They used to be a chocolate brown, but are now a golden color. The only person who knows what happened is the Hokage and neither he nor Saburo will say what had happened.

Now, he is a reserved individual who recently became an Academy instructor and also works the missions desk after school is let out. His rank is still Chuunin. Benjiro doesn't pry into his brother's life, knowing that it probably would hurt his brother. Yukio, knows something happened to make his excitable brother into someone boring. Aiko has become closer to Saburo, but even she doesn't know what changed her brother.

Every now and then, Saburo would sit on the Hokage monument and think of a certain Hyuuga girl from the Main Family, thanking whatever gods that are out there that she hasn't had to go through what he has went through... but he doesn't know that another girl, Akiko from the Branch Family, has her eyes on him...

Yeah, something really bad happened to Saburo, losing his sensei and his teammates, his best friends. Hyuuga Akiko will be able to help him later on...^_^
