This is Kate Tabris from the Dragon Age story, Reparation by :icondayofautumn: It's a different take on the Blight and of the Wardens and of Dragon Age in general. It's refreshing and the characters that interact with one another is well done. This is an AU that is definitely worth the read...:)

This is the fifth Christmas gift done for the people at the Cheeky Monkeys of Dragon Age forum. I like how this turned out. It was hard because of the near-profile of Kate's face. I'm still not too sure about it....but I liked how the hair came out and her eyes...:) I also tried something new with textures using GIMP for the headband.

art details - sketched on paper, inked in SAI, colored in Painter and texture with GIMP.

Wow! I thought I had a picture in my head of Kate and this one is so much better :)

She looks awesome. I love her hair and eyes - I really love how you draw eyes, but I love her expression, too. Bit said, or melancholic, but also bit dangerous, like someone I wouldn't mess with. :D
