Artist's Comments

This is for the Costume Design contest that :iconleoosaka: is holding for her original characters. I chose her character, Sujuka, because he sounded rather interesting to do...^_^

I like how most of this turned out...especially the armlet he's wearing...XD But I think I really crapped out on the background...^^; I wanted to get this done before the deadline of September 25....^^;

sketched in Open Canvas, painted in Painter 7, and finishing touches in Photoshop.

Sorry for taking so long to get to it. But holy crap! That is so very fitting for him it's amazing! I love the blue and yellow. Wonderful colors. The design on his 'shirt' makes me think of a uniform in the sense that a whole army may wear! I really like this!

I love the design for the shirt, and the way to gold borders the blue. I'm also quite fond of the leg-armor, and the bracer.

That red cord at the waist is so striking with the rest of the colors you chose, but fits really well with the yellow-gold ^_^
